REWARD SIGNS

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Board of Directors of American Farmers & Ranchers Mutual Insurance Company (AFRMIC) recently approved an increase from a $1000 to a $5000 Reward program. The increase benefits individuals and families with American Farmers & Ranchers insurance. 

In order to discourage illegal activities, AFRMIC will pay $5,000 to the person who furnishes original information that leads to the arrest and felony conviction of a person or persons committing theft, arson or vandalism on the property of an American Farmers & Ranchers member insured.

The decision to increase the reward program came after last year’s abundance of fires where arson played a significant role and increased theft of livestock as cattle prices have increased at the auction barn.          

Theft and arson not only cost the individuals impacted, but also other insured members as rates must be adjusted to compensate for growing losses. Theft, arson and vandalism are not victimless crimes. We hope this increased reward program will deter individuals considering committing these crimes. The key is having the reward sign posted on your land which will encourage friends, neighbors and others to report information to stop crime and to benefit from the reward program.

Reward signs are available at your local American Farmers & Ranchers Mutual Insurance agent office. Members must post the official Reward Sign in a clearly visible location on the premises.
