Education Programs

Education is a strong component of the agriculture organization.

Adult Education Programs

Education remains a core value, even a century after the family farm organization's establishment. American Farmers and Ranchers sponsored adult education programs include leadership development, county and local officer training, women's programs and much more.  These programs offer a variety of opportunities for adults of all ages and interests.  While building the youth of Oklahoma - the future, AFR also strives to open doors of opportunity and assist current leaders in local communities, this state and nation.

Youth Programs

AFR offers many educational activities to teach youth citizenship, social responsibility and brotherhood. Youth participating in AFR programs learn through activities such as speech and poster contests, award trips, and national and statewide leadership camps. The state organization awards more than $25,000 in college scholarships in addition to numerous county level scholarships.

All Oklahoma youth, first grade through college, can participate in AFR activities.
