Discounts Available for Automobile Policies
Paid-in-FullReceive a 15% discount on your total automobile policy premium, excluding membership dues, when your entire policy premium is paid on or before the effective date.
Multi-PolicyDo you have your Homeowners or Farm & Ranch policy with AFR? Well why not buy a Personal Auto policy and receive a 15% discount on your total policy automobile premium! You will also qualify for an additional 10% discount on the companion Homeowner or Farm & Ranch policy.
Drivers EducationDrivers under the age of 23, having no more than 1 point in the previous 36 months and no at-fault accidents, who have completed a driver education course may qualify for the Drivers Education discount.
Good StudentStudents attending high school, vo-tech, college or university full time and maintaining a "B" or 3.0 grade point average may qualify for a 20% discount! *A certified statement from the school must be presented annually to AFR showing the student has met a "B" average during the immediately preceding school semester.
New PolicyThe New Policy discount of 10% will be applied to a new policy for the first term, 6 months or 12 months, of the policy! The discount is only available to new policies not previously insured with AFR in the last 6 months.
Mulit-CarReceive a 10% discount when you insure more than 1 vehicle on the policy! *Trailers are not included in the count of vehicles and are not eligible for the discount.
Safe DriverContinuous coverage? Yes. Suspended license? No. Good driving experience? Yes. If so, you could be qualified for the Safe Driver discount of 15%. See your AFR Agent for more details. *This discount may replace the Drivers Education discount but cannot be given in addition to the Drivers Education discount.
Accident PreventionSuccessfully complete an AFR approved motor vehicle accident prevention course and you may be qualified for the Accident Prevention discount. *Some restrictions apply. See your local AFR Agent for a complete list of details.
ExperienceHave you had an "at-fault" accident in the last 60 months while insured with AFR? ...No? That's great...we'll give you a 20% discount! *See your nearest AFR agent for more details. Some restrictions may apply.
Jump!StartNot insured with AFR yet? We have a 20% discount for you if you have had continuous previous coverage for 12 months without a lapse in coverage, with a company other than AFR.
Claims FreeHad insurance on your property and never had a claim. Wow, do we have a discount for you! If you have had insurance on your property for 3 - 6 years without a claim we will give you a 5% discount, 6 years or more we will give you a 15% discount!
Impact Resistant Roofing MaterialIf you have roofing material that has the UL2218 Impact Resistant Certification we will allow a 15% discount for Class 3 and a 20% discount for Class 4. Check with the manufacturer to see if your roof will qualify. Metal roofs of at least 26 gauge or thicker will qualify for the 20% discount.
Burglar and Fire AlarmDo you have a central station monitored burglar or fire alarm? Congratulations, you may qualify for a 5% discount for each. Don't have a central station alarm, we also allow a 3% discount for alarms that report directly to the police or fire station, or a 2% discount for a local alarm, one that just goes off at the house.
Multi-PolicyDo you have your automobile insurance with AFR? Well why not buy your Home or Farm & Ranch policy from AFR and receive a 10% multi-policy discount on your Home or Farm & Ranch policy PLUS qualify for an additional 15% on your automobile insurance. What a deal!
New HomeIs your home less than 12 years old? Great, you will qualify for a New Home Discount up to 33%!
